Rob Denton is a New York City-based lighting designer.  For the past twenty years he has been desigining musicals, plays and operas accross the country.   

Some of his recent design credits include: Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors (Off-Broadway), The Jerusalem Syndrome (Off-Broadway), Chess and Little Shop of Horrors (The Muny), Jersey Boys (Maltz Jupiter Theatre), Lizzie and Fun Home (TheaterWorks).

Rob’s upcoming designs include: The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Goodspeed Musicals); Baskerville (Alabama Shakespeare Festival);  Dreamgirls, In the Heights and Anything Goes (The Muny); Disney’s Frozen (Maltz Jupiter Theatre)

Rob holds an MFA in Lighting Design from University of Maryland and a BFA in Theatre Design from Webster University.
